TE Connectivity PIDG Terminals and Splices
TE Connectivity’s PIDG terminals are designed for uniform reliability in the harshest circuit environments, especially where high vibration and wire movement are factors. They consist of a nylon or PVC insulated body, plus a metal sleeve that crimps to the wire insulation for added support. The wire barrel design is vibration resistant, and supports the wire to bend in any direction without damaging the wire insulation or conductor. Many PIDG terminals meet or exceed the requirements of SAE AS7928, Type II, Class 1 .
FEATURES AND BENEFITS
• Made of high conductivity copper; tin-plated for optimal corrosion protection
• Copper sleeve for vibration resistance and improved wire insulation support
• Body has inner serrations for maximum electrical contact and tensile strength
• Insulation sleeves are colour-coded by wire size to the corresponding TE Connectivity (TE) tooling for easy identification and termination
• Readily available at distributors in small packages or bulk quantities
• Most PIDG terminals and splices are UL/CSA listed and Mil-Spec approved
• Operating temperature 105°C; operating voltage 300V

TE Connectivity SOLISTRAND Terminals and Splices
Our SOLISTRAND products are designed for reliable performance in harsh environments. SOLISTRAND terminals and splices are specifically engineered to ensure reliable and long lasting performance in the most punishing environments. SOLISTRAND is corrosion resistant, vibration resistant, and features a tensile strength well within the limits of commercial and military specifications. Our SOLISTRAND portfolio includes ring terminals, flag terminals, spade terminals, hook terminals, and flanged tongue terminals, as well as parallel splices and butt splices. We also offer associated SOLISTRAND crimping tools designed for consistent and uniform terminations, making quality control easy and performance reliable.
FEATURES AND BENEFITS
• Constructed of high conductivity copper; corrosion and vibration resistant
• Brazed seam and “W” crimp provide high tensile strength and prevents pinched wires
• Shorter barrel length is ideal for terminations in tight spaces
• Bell-mouth barrel entrance makes inserting wire easier and reduces installation time
• Most SOLISTRAND meets or exceeds Mil Spec SAE AS7928 requirements – Type I, Class 1.
• Voltage rating limited to applied wire rating
• Operating Temperature: 170°C; UL listed/CSA approved

TE Connectivity PLASTI-GRIP Terminals and Splices
Pre-insulated PLASTI-GRIP solderless terminals and splices are designed to provide cost-effective, insulated electrical terminations. They feature a high-conductivity copper body and color-coded PVC insulation, making them suitable for a wide range of commercial applications. Engineered Application Tooling is specifically designed to ensure quick and efficient installation. The wire and wire barrel form a strong, high-conductivity connection with excellent tensile strength, while tin plating enhances corrosion resistance. With their quality, performance, and ease of installation, PLASTI-GRIP terminals are ideal for various industrial applications. Most products are UL and CSA approved and are available in multiple tongue styles, stud sizes, and wire ranges from 22 AWG to 2/0.

Murrplastik Conduit and Fittings
Murrplastik conduits and fittings offer multiple benefits including material properties, installation ease, and application versatility:
Material Properties
• Chemical resistance: Effective against fuels, mineral oils, greases, and weak acids.
• Fire safety: Self-extinguishing materials meeting UL94 V0 and HB classifications, with low smoke emission.
• Durability: High impact strength (up to 4.5 M25/P21 at -25°C) and crush resistance (340–600 N).
• Temperature range: Operates from -50°C to 160°C short-term.
Installation Advantages
• Tool-free assembly: Plug-in designs (e.g., MSV, CVG EMV) simplify installation without lost parts.
• Retrofitting flexibility: Split conduits (e.g., SVT, EWT-PA) allow post-installation modifications.
• Vibration resistance: Lockable cap nuts and clamping mechanisms ensure stability.
Environmental & Safety Features
• IP ratings: Up to IP69K for high-pressure washdown resistance.
• UV/weather resistance: Suitable for outdoor use.
• Compliance: Meets NFPA130, EN45545, and ECE standards for fire and smoke safety.
Application Versatility
• Dynamic/static use: Supports medium mechanical loads in mechanical engineering and chemical plants.
• Cost-effective alternatives: Rectangular EF conduits reduce wear in multi-axis movements compared to drag chains.
• High pull-out strength: Exceeds 250–270 N for secure connections.
